The Bookaholic is a modern reading community created for people who love books, meaningful conversations, and genuine connection. What started in January 2024 with just 4 members has grown into a thriving community of over 2,000 readers across Ibadan and Lagos. Built from a shared love for reading and community, The Bookaholic has evolved into more than just a book club. We are a space where readers connect, ideas are exchanged, perspectives are challenged, and friendships are formed. Through curated book discussions, community meetups, social experiences, and intentional conversations, we are building a culture that makes reading feel engaging, accessible, and deeply human.

Every month, we step into different worlds through curated fiction, memoirs, poetry, and history. Yet the heartbeat of this club is felt in the afterglow, in the community threads, community events, and the monthly check-ins where we arrive as our whole, authentic selves.
