More than a book club.

The Bookaholic is a modern reading community for people who love books, meaningful conversations and real connection. What started in January 2024 with four members has grown into more than 2,000 readers across Ibadan and Lagos.

We're a space where ideas are exchanged, perspectives are challenged and friendships are formed, through curated book discussions, meetups, social experiences and intentional conversation. We're building a culture that makes reading feel engaging, accessible and deeply human.

Every month we step into a different world: fiction, memoir, poetry, history. But the heart of the club is the afterglow, in the community threads and the monthly meetups where we arrive as our whole selves.
